WWE is a place where it’s normal to see and hear giant, muscular guys trash talk each other before, while, and after having a brawl in the ring. However, one of them went too far with the dirty talk, and now the whole society is having a fit.

As it happens, the public was recently presented with a recording of Terry Bollea, a.k.a. Hulk Hogan, from a couple of years back where you could hear him saying the N-word, along with a bunch of other racist remarks. This got him evicted from the WWE Hall of Fame, but that’s not the end of it.

One of Hogan’s colleagues, and also a very successful actor, had something to say about the recent events.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson spoke on the 2015 TCA Summer press tour when he said: “I was pretty disappointed with what I heard, like all of us, by the way. I was disappointed in him.”

The Rock continued: “I have known Terry for a lot of years. My dad helped trained him in Florida in the ’70s when he was breaking into the business. I come from a very long lineage of professional wrestlers.”

Finally, Johnson added: “I had not known the man to be racist. It’s funny, it’s one of those things where, and not justifying what he said, but we’ve all talked trash, especially in private. He said what he said and he’s paying the price.”

Hulk has already apologized publicly, however we doubt his fans will get over this easily. Getting his contract with WWE terminated might not have hit Hogan as hard, since he’s already a retired wrestler either way. But perhaps he’ll start behaving properly once he realizes a close friend like Dwayne Johnson is deeply disappointed with his actions.
