The singer and thug wannabe from Barbados slammed the NBA superstar on August 16th, after she was pretty agitated and hurt by him adding fuel to the dating rumors about them.
The 35-year-old NBA player was asked what is going on between him and the hit-maker, on August 15th, as numerous sources reported that the pair had been on two dates recently. Barnes replied that RiRi is “his friend right now, but they will see where it goes.” He also added: “I think it’s just past the crush stage, just a little bit.”
It’s safe to say that Rihanna was not going to have any of it, because according to her none of it is true, so she posted a screenshot of Barnes talking about them on her Instagram account, and captioned the photo with “The devil is a liar,” “She’s not that into you,” “She’s not into you at all,” “She’s never even met you,” “This actually hurt my feelings,” and other similar thoughts.
Ouch. However, Barnes certainly deserves this kind of retaliation, as no one likes a liar and an attention seeker saying that he’s with someone when he’s not. The “Better Have My Money” singer was recently linked to Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, and the two have been spotted on numerous occasions, including on a yacht just last week in her home island of Barbados.
