Lindsay Lohan is officially back and better than ever! It’s been a long time coming, not just for the young star, but for everyone who’s wanted her career to be revitalized. It’s true that in the past year or so Lindsay has been in more trouble than she’d like to admit or be a part of, but that may just be a dimple in an otherwise booming career.

Also, it’s not the first time a great actor or actress has hit a bump in the road before becoming a big international star – think Robert Downey, Jr., Charlie Sheen and Britney Spears, among many. This is Lindsay Lohan’s time to shine and she plans on making it stick.

Known more for her childhood films such as The Parent Trap, Mean Girls, Freaky Friday and Herbie Fully Reloaded, Lindsay is determined to put her career back on track.

The star refuses to be one of those child stars that falls victim to Hollywood’s darker side.

In the last year, Lohan has been in the news for drugs, alcohol, court appearances and a stint in rehab. But all this is over, officially, as Lohan has been really public about the changes she is making in her life.

Literary Debut

First, there is the book she is writing and planning on publishing. This is a tell-all book that started off as a series of journal entries that was part of her rehab exercises. Lindsay has decided to complete this memoir of sorts so that she can let the world know what she’s gone through and what lies ahead.

There are already a number of publishing companies interested in offering her a contract so the book looks like it will be on bookshelves shortly. In this book, Lindsay wants to open up every part of her life and leave nothing back.

Back to the Movies

Also in the works is a film that’s set to start shooting in March. According to the press conference she and producer and financier Randall Emmett held at Sundance, the part Lohan will play is one she can relate to. Titled “Inconceivable”, it’s a psychological thriller about a woman trying to get back something she lost.

Lohan actually read the script and called Emmett to let him know she was making the film and to see if he’d be in. Emmett was ecstatic, to say the least, to start working on the project.

OWN, Oprah Winfrey’s network, is also shooting a docu-series that follows Lohan as she works to regain her once vibrant career. This is just another way the star is making her big comeback.

Not to mention, Lindsay Lohan is back physically as well. Stunning audiences and attendees at Sundance and at the Just Sing It app launch in New York City, the star looked absolutely stunning. She actually looks better than she ever has – simply gorgeous.
