3. Snoop Dogg

Even though he changed his stage name to Snoop Lion, we will never forget the work of Snoop Dogg.

His songs, appearances, and run-ins with the law are what made Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. a real gangsta-rap pioneer.

His criminal activities began shortly after he graduated from high school. Snoop Dogg was first arrested for cocaine possession, for which he served three years in prison.

In 1993, the rapper was apprehended in connection with the death of a rival gang member, but was later cleared of all charges.

Snoop was arrested a couple of times later in life for various reasons. These include drug and weapon possession, disturbance of peace, trespassing, and drug abuse. He even got himself banned from entering several countries, like UK and Australia.
