4. Steven Spielberg’s divorce from Amy Irving – $100 million

Although Steven Spielberg and Amy Irving divorced in 1989, which was over 25 years ago, their divorce is still one of the costliest in the history of Hollywood.

After only 4 years of marriage and a prenuptial agreement, Irving managed to get a hefty paycheck which included bounty from huge hits such as Jaws and E.T. by having their prenup annulled as it was allegedly written on a napkin.

Spielberg and Irving have one son together, and they both remarried after their split. Spielberg went on to have 5 children with his second wife, Kate Capshaw, while Irving is currently on her third husband Kenneth Bowser.
