Apparently the most hated man during this World Cup in Brazil comes from Uruguay and his name is Luis Suarez, but as “news.com.au” already pointed out, you can call him “booooooooo!”

Suarez missed his nation’s first match due to a knee injury but is back for the second round against England.

What can we say about this great but not exactly popular player? This man has scored more goals for his country than any other, with 35 and counting. He netted 31 goals for Liverpool last English Premier League season when they just missed out on the title.

However, this amazing player has a nasty side, too. He’s been suspended for biting an Ajax player, Otman Bakkal, when he played in the Netherlands and it appears that he’s “a real biter”, since he made the same mistake biting Branislav Ivanovic, a Chelsea player, in April last year.

He was suspended by the FIA by saying some particularly demeaning things to a player with a darker skin tone than himself. Luis is also notorious for his good “handball” skills, for he doesn’t hesitate to put his arm or hand where one shouldn’t when it comes to this game.

Recently, Luis Suarez has revealed that he is trying to become less of a bad-boy on the field in an attempt to become a better sporting role model and is now determined to improve his image, starting with a successful World Cup campaign with Uruguay, if he can prove his fitness.

“I would like to change because it’s awful to hear and read what is said of you. But on the field, sometimes passion overwhelms you and you do things you regret afterwards,” said the player.

Whether or not he will be able to do that, he’ll probably be a huge pain in the neck for his opponents during the tournament.
