We can’t say that Johnny Depp is one of those celebs who like to share details from their personal lives. When that happens, however, all of us should pay very close attention.

While talking to E! News at the LA premiere of “The Danish Girl,” the famous actor treated the interviewer with a rare moment of openness when he gushed about his wife Amber Heard.

Said Depp: “We connect on a lot of levels but the first thing that really got me was she’s an aficionado of the blues. I would play a song, some old obscure blues song and she knew what it was.”

He added: “She’s very, very literate. She’s a voracious reader as I have been, so we connected on that as well. And she’s kind of brilliant.”

Finally, the actor said with a smile: “I’m a lucky man.” Oh, Johnny, if only all of us could find the happiness that you have found with Amber…
