There has been a lot of excitement mounting over the wedding of the Ultimate Bachelor, and the specific details on the Hollywood’s next big wedding are being firmly secret by the bride and groom, George Clooney and his lawyer fiancé Amal Alamuddin.

Good to go

A lot of rumors hit the grapevine about where the nuptials will happen and whether the ‘nearlyweds’ managed to acquire all the necessary paperwork for the ceremony, and all because they have been trying hard to keep everything firmly under wraps.

However, the latest reports say that everything is going according to plan. George and Amal are in possession of the required legal papers, obtained from London’s Chelsea Town Hall, where they posted their wedding banns – the legal notice stating their intentions to marry.

“I believe we have given the documents to George’s fiancée and now they are free to go and marry wherever they want,” a source at the registry office stated for HELLO! Online magazine. “That is the honest truth.”

But, where?

Reportedly, the much anticipated wedding was first scheduled to happen in the privacy of the actor’s $31million Villa Oleandra on Lake Como, Italy. Local council has done everything in their power to make their nuptials as private as possible. They even passed two by-laws to prevent strangers from getting too close to George’s home in order to avoid unwanted paparazzi.

However, Amal apparently felt that the lakeside residence was “too public” for the long-awaited wedding, so it seems the lake house is out.

Other reports suggest the two could be marrying in Venice, where they first met. Others claim that the couple will officially tie the knot at the Chelsea Town Hall and continue the festivities with a lavish celebration in Italy.

One thing is clear, though. Wherever the wedding ends up happening, it will sure be one of the biggest Hollywood events of the year.
