Lil Wayne admits he has epilepsy following the speculation from the media and numerous hospitalizations.

The rap star confirmed the seriousness of his condition when he said “he could have died soon” when in 2013 he had three seizures in a row.

Wayne also explained he has suffered from epilepsy since he was a child, and blames the seizures on overworking, stress and no rest.

The scary part is that the rapper’s seizures strike without warning and he completely blacks out. After being hospitalized for almost a week in March 2013 due to multiple seizures, Lil Wayne explained he was scared for his life but that this wasn’t the first time something like this has happened.

His most recent hospitalization came in May 2013, when the rapper vowed to change his ways and take better care of his health, mainly stay off booze and stop the heavy partying.
