When celebs do something they shouldn’t have done, they usually try to keep things quiet so the media wouldn’t harass them. Well, good luck with that.

International singer Enrique Iglesias was arrested on May 6th after being pulled over in a Cadillac Escalade for driving in a closed express lane in Miami. Not only did the Latin hunk and mega star deliberately broke traffic rules, he also tried to ditch the driver’s seat.

According to police reports, Iglesias was caught by Florida Highway Patrol driving his vehicle in the restricted area, and then jumped from his seat into the rear passenger seat, while his male passenger jumped from the front passenger seat onto the driver’s seat.

It seems that the “Hero” singer tried to escape justice, since he was also driving with a suspended license. And we have to say, that’s a really great friend.

However, despite their elaborate ruse, Iglesias and his friend, Abel Tabuyo, were not that hard to figure out, and they were arrested. The performer was charged with obstruction without violence, and driving with a suspended license.

Both of the troublemakers pleaded not guilty and they are scheduled for court on July 10th.
