Disheveled Shia LaBeouf Leaves Court – New Details On His Arrest

Shia LaBeouf

The former Disney Channel star just might be losing it.

‘Tranformers’ star, Shia LaBeouf, continued his streak of bizarre behavior this week when he began smoking cigarettes and using inappropriate language during his visit to see “Cabaret” on Broadway, and was later arrested.

According to ABC’s New York affiliate WABC, the actor was cuffed and seen crying as he talked to officers outside of the famous “Studio 54” theater on Thursday night.

LaBeouf, 28, was then taken to the police station and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.

Apparently, he did not only disturb the stage actors during their performance, but made a fool of himself at the theater bar as well.

“He just walked up to the bar inside of ‘Cabaret’ and grabbed a strawberry and fed it to some woman off of her plate, and then tipped the bartender and ran out,” said one woman attending the show. “He was quite a mess. He had a torn shirt, he had a cigarette, he was trying to blend into the crowd and chasing bums,” said another visitor.

The latest news on the case is that LaBeouf is a free man. At least for now.

The ‘Transformers’ star left the precinct wearing a tattered tee, skinny jeans, unlaced boots and was looking pretty disheveled.

The former Disney Channel star walked to a hotel several blocks away and declined to speak with reporters on the scene.

Shia has been acting obscurely ever since it was discovered (in December) that the story for his short film “HowardCantour.com” was actually stolen from Daniel Clowes’ graphic novel, “Justin M. Damiano,” word for word.

He tried to atone via Twitter, but only managed to make matters worse when his ‘apology’ was found to be partially copied from a Yahoo Answers forum. Irony at its best.

He then posted a thread of other plagiarized apologies, apparently trying to mock the entire situation. Subsequently, the young actor announced he was retiring from “public life.”

We sure hope he’ll be back on track soon.
